ITD ALUMNI/AE
ITD alumni and alumnae of our US Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) projects are encouraged to make use of ECA's three websites:
Exchanges is ECA's "official" presence on the Internet and provides authoritative information on ECA programs and activities.
State Alumni is a password-protected online community exclusively for past and current participants of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs. It allows exchange alumni to build upon the exchange experience and connect to tens of thousands of alumni around the world. Alumni share their news, photos, articles, and other information. In addition to networking tools, alumni have access resources such as grant and job opportunities, live web chats with experts, and thousands of academic journals, magazines, and newspapers for free.
ECA's social network, ExchangesConnect - is designed to provide an environment in which anyone interested in international exchange can share information and engage in conversations about exchange-related topics. Content on ExchangesConnect is, for the most part, user generated and includes photos, videos, blogs, and discussion forums. While ExchangesConnect was just launched in October 2008, it already has more than 10,400 members from 180 countries. |
