
Study of the U.S. Institutes for Student Leaders
ITD is administering the Western Hemisphere Institutes through funding from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State. The Institute
s consist of six five-week programs for groups of Latin American university student leaders. The goal of these Institutes is to deepen selected students' understanding of U.S. culture and society, and to broaden their leadership ability. Under the ITD grant, three Institutes were conducted this past winter. This summer, three more Summer Institutes will take place as listed below.
