Current Activities

U.S. Studies for Latin American Students

ITD administered the Study of the United States Institutes on U.S. History and Government through funding from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State.  The Institutes were five 5-week programs for groups of Latin American university student leaders. The goal was to deepen students' understanding of U.S. culture and society, and to broaden their leadership abilities. ITD and our partner institutions conducted three Institutes in the summer of 2013 and two more this winter, as listed below.
